New Quick Sale button setup for CPS Air

In the 3.100 release, the Quick Sale buttons (QSB) set up has been revamped completely. No longer do you copy your pre-made buttons from the Quick Sale Button Setup of the CPS Sales Options, but you create them from Online Options for different profiles. In this way, you can deploy your QSB quicker and for different situations based on the profiles you create.

We wanted to move away from Quick sale buttons being terminal-specific. Since iPads are mobile devices, we want to be able to load profiles quickly. So the Quick Sale button setup is now profile-based.

You can create as many profiles as you want by name, such as Banquet or Pro-shop, so your QSB can be built in the groups, times, and in the way you need them. You need only select a new profile from a Terminal settings drop-down on the web to make the change.

Note: This only works for setting up QSB on the iPad running CPS Air starting with version 3.100; to set up the QSB for F&B and POS on your local terminal, see the topics for F&B Quick Sale Buttons or POS Quick Sale Buttons.
